Under the assumption that “found objects can be raw material to provide a new form, irrelevant to its original function,” Ai Zih was chosen to develop the concept. Ai Zih is an everyday object, common in our collective memory of electric poles along the road. Objects of different visual vocabulary are put together to form surprising results- a container, a vase, or a lamp that diffuses light from the bottom of the insulator.
